Job summary

The Bernard & Tregaskiss MIG Gun Division seeks a Market Segment Manager to identify growth opportunities across Automation, Manufacturing, ConFab, and Light Industries. Lead market research, competitive analysis, and strategic planning to inform investments and roadmaps.

You will collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Finance, Operations, and Marketing to translate insights into actionable plans, drive business cases, and align long-term growth with ITW Welding’s portfolio.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field; MBA preferred.
7+ years in strategic marketing, market research, product management or related roles.
Experience with primary research, market sizing, competitive analysis and business-case development.
Experience with industrial products, welding, automation or distribution channels preferred.
Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

Identify and evaluate new growth opportunities across welding segments.
Conduct customer interviews, site visits, market research and competitive analysis.
Develop business cases and recommendations for investments.
Translate market intelligence into actionable segment strategies and roadmaps.
Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Finance and Marketing.
