The role focuses on coordinating and synchronizing operations in the maritime environment to accomplish the commander's intent. You will provide technical, managerial, and administrative direction for maritime current and future operations within USSOUTHCOM's area of responsibility, and you will liaise with NAVSOUTH, USCG districts, GCCs,

Qualifications

• Commissioned US Navy or US Coast Guard officer with 10 years of military experience.
• Minimum 2 years in operational or strategic level headquarters (O-6 or higher) with understanding of maritime asset allocation and SOF forces.
• Current TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and synchronize operations to produce effects and support the commander's intent.
• Advise on organization-wide synchronization, optimization, and continuity of maritime operations.
• Integrate maritime SME expertise across directorates to coordinate and synchronize GC maritime operations and OAIs.
• Liaise with NAVSOUTH, USCG regions, GCCs, TSOCs, USSOUTHCOM components, and interagency partners.
