Job summary

Southern Crescent Technical College seeks a dynamic Coordinator for Business and Industry Advanced Manufacturing Partnerships and Industrial Systems Instructor. This role reports to the Economic Development Division and focuses on building relationships with employers and workforce groups to expand noncredit training and partnerships across multiple SCTC locations.

The position entails developing sales plans, coordinating with business communities, and leading collaborative training initiatives

Qualifications

• Associates degree and 5 years of experience in business and industry.
• Expertise in advanced manufacturing tech incl. PLCs and industrial robots.
• Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive sales plan to increase revenues.
• Identify and build partnerships with local employers and economic development orgs.
• Lead and manage training partnerships, apprenticeships, and noncredit programs.
• Coordinate with college administration and faculty to align noncredit and credit offerings.
• Engage Career Services to connect graduates with industry opportunities.
