Job summary

Southern Crescent Technical College seeks a Coordinator for Business and Industry Advanced Manufacturing Partnerships and Industrial Systems Instructor to advance manufacturing ties with employers and drive noncredit training programs. The role reports to the Economic Development division and collaborates with college leadership.

Responsibilities include building partnerships, planning sales campaigns, coordinating training options, and expanding revenue through customized corporate training,

Qualifications

• Associates degree and five years in business/industry.
• Experience in manufacturing or higher education supporting production systems and maintenance training.
• Expertise in PLCs and industrial robots.
• Familiarity with control systems: Kuka, ABB, Fanuc, Allen-Bradley, Siemens PLCs.
• Six Sigma and Lean Certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan and implement manufacturing partnerships with local employers and organizations.
• Create and execute a comprehensive sales plan to increase noncredit training revenues.
• Identify opportunities for apprenticeships, internships and corporate training programs.
• Lead partnerships, negotiate agreements and expand revenue streams for SCTC.
• Coordinate marketing and outreach across sales channels and academic units.
