Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Lead Sr. Principal Manufacturing Analyst in Elkridge, MD to guide production planning and delivery across a cell. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive improvements in manufacturing processes.

The role emphasizes analytical rigor, communication with leadership, and the ability to resolve material shortages while maintaining schedule integrity. Strong manufacturing background and security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of experience in Manufacturing, Materials, MRP, Production Control or Business Coordination; Master’s Degree with 6 years of experience; 12 years may substitute
• Experience using SAP/ERP or other related systems
• Experience Leading/Coaching people and/or projects
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Level Security Clearance
• U.S. Citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Lead Planner for P&MC across multiple shifts within a manufacturing cell
• Drive timely flow of product to meet internal/external delivery requirements
• Interface with Manufacturing, Program Operations, Global Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality
• Consolidate and analyze production data to report status of hardware
• Track KPIs: OTTR, LT, OOC, OTTF
• Lead across the manufacturing cell to reduce aging orders and shortages
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Analysts/Planners on planning, scheduling, visibility tools
• Assist P&MC Management on Continuous Improvement projects
• Develop presentations and lead reporting for the P&MC Commodities organization
