Job summary

Zaddy Solutions in Mineola, NY seeks an experienced Business Segment Controller to lead site finance and act as a strategic partner to the business unit manager. You will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, inventory management, and working capital optimization in a hands-on leadership role.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive manufacturing accounting and finance experience.
• 3-5 years of leadership or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, US GAAP, ASC 606, and SOX 404.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, month-end close, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Budgets and forecasts, analyzing revenue, profitability, expenses, and working capital.
• Monitor KPIs, improve productivity, reduce costs, and support product development.
• Oversee product costing, inventory valuation, physical counts, and obsolescence reserves.
• Drive working capital improvements across receivables, inventory, and payables.
• Evaluate capital expenditures and prepare financial analyses (NPV).
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, SOX, internal controls, and company policies.
• Support internal and external audits and divisional reporting.
