Job summary

Abbott Diabetes Care seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to partner with Global Headquarters Commercial leaders on strategic financial planning, forecasting, and investment decisions. This highly visible role influences performance and provides actionable insights across Marketing and the PMO in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead forecasting, budgeting, and monthly outlooks, evaluate investments, and build dashboards to improve visibility for business leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 3+ years of financial analysis, planning, or forecasting experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to plan, implement, and manage financial information and control systems.
• Strong communication skills with non-financial stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience collaborating with business partners to support financial decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Global Commercial leaders to provide financial guidance for strategic decisions.
• Lead forecasting, budgeting, and monthly outlook processes for Global HQ Commercial.
• Evaluate investments, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend actions.
• Manage operating expense forecasts and ensure timely financial submissions.
• Monitor spending against budget and forecast with strong controls.
• Support month-end close activities and financial reporting.
• Develop dashboards and reporting tools to improve visibility for leaders.
• Drive forecasting, planning, and reporting improvements for efficiency.
