Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or related field.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience performing month-end close activities, financial variance analysis, and forecasting.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Monitor financial and operational performance for the Temecula site; compare Plan and Actuals; analyze spending trends.
• Lead month-end close: prepare and validate journal entries and actuals, analyze variances.
• Collaborate with operations on Annual Operating Plan and LBEs for the site.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and KPIs to support decision making.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts (prepaids, accruals, etc.).
• Create reports and dashboards with financial information for operating teams.
• Create tools to monitor COGS and analyze trends versus benchmarks.
• Support cost-reduction initiatives to drive sustainable growth at Temecula site.
• Interpret costs, prices, expenses, and revenues; provide senior management with actionable recommendations.
• Meet deadlines with minimal supervision and maintain internal controls.
