Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Senior Manager to support growth and scale the Arizona Campus of Stryker Sustainability Solutions. This leader will build a diverse team capable of expanding through new product development and product transfers, using data analysis and engineering principles to identify strategic improvements and cost-saving opportunities.

You will drive talent development, mentor cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and ensure regulatory design controls across programs, while partnering

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Engineering or related technical field.
• 10+ years of applicable experience.
• 4+ years direct people management experience.
• Continuous Improvement certification preferred (Lean, Six Sigma).
• Experience leading or partnering with Facilities/Maintenance for reliability improvements.

Responsibilities

• Attract, develop, and engage top talent while delivering high quality results.
• Mentor teams to solve complex technical, business and personnel problems using process improvement.
• Make independent decisions for project, program, or portfolio level issues.
• Lead high complexity projects with budgeting, staffing and goal achievement.
• Lead cross-functional efforts across teams and build key relationships to drive innovation.
• Develop a 3–5 year road map for improvement initiatives.
• Distill objectives and strategy into measurable reports for direct reports.
• Oversee design controls and regulatory compliance across programs.
