Job summary

Springfield Remanufacturing Corp seeks an experienced Controller to direct the Company’s financial activity, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting. This role emphasizes manufacturing costing, internal controls, and cross-functional financial support to leadership.

The ideal candidate has a strong track record in financial leadership within manufacturing, CPA/CMA credentials preferred, and a commitment to Open Book Management and employee ownership.

Qualifications

• Ten years of financial management experience in a manufacturing setting.
• CPA and/or CMA designation preferred.
• Master's degree or MBA required.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
• Experience with manufacturing cost accounting and Open Book Management.

Responsibilities

• Direct the preparation of income statements, cash flow statements, balance sheets, and regulatory reports.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, internal audit activities, and financial reporting.
• Review variances and propose corrective actions.
• Safeguard assets and maintain internal controls and policies.
• Perform cost analyses and interpretation of manufacturing cost data.
• Partner with department leaders to support business decisions.
• Develop strategic business plans and evaluate opportunities for growth.
• Strengthen cash position and manage banking relationships.
