Our client, a privately owned manufacturing company near Indianapolis, seeks a hands-on Controller to lead the accounting function across six operating brands. This role partners with ownership and the leadership team to drive profitability and strategic decision-making beyond monthly close.

You will manage a two-person team, own the day-to-day financial operations, oversee budgeting, cash flow, and audits, and help strengthen costing, reporting, and internal controls in a growth-focused

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Strong full-cycle accounting background with month-end close.
• Experience in cost accounting for manufacturing and job costing.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and develop a team of two accounting professionals.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close across six operating brands.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and executive reporting.
• Oversee general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting in ERP.
• Oversee budgeting, cash flow, banking, and day-to-day financial operations.
• Analyze job costing and profitability to improve margins and business performance.
• Partner with production and estimating to strengthen costing and reporting.
• Improve accounting processes, internal controls, and operational efficiency.
• Oversee audits, tax coordination, and external CPA relationships.
• Partner with ownership to support growth, profitability, and strategic decisions.
