Job summary

Mission Critical Group (MCG) seeks an experienced Controller to lead financial operations, ensure GAAP compliance, and partner with management to scale growth across manufacturing, data centers, and critical power projects.

The role emphasizes cost optimization, robust FP&A, and building scalable processes with a focus on accuracy, integrity, and performance visibility across plants and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
• CPA strongly preferred; multi-entity experience a plus.
• 10+ years progressive accounting/finance experience.
• 5+ years in Controller or Assistant Controller role.
• Manufacturing experience required; private equity background preferred.
• Strong GAAP knowledge, revenue recognition, and cost accounting.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with accuracy.
• Deliver reliable P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
• Design and maintain internal controls; lead audits with no material weaknesses.
• Manage cash flow, AR/AP, inventory, and working capital.
• Lead accounting team; drive automation and ERP system improvements.
• Provide decision‑driven insights across plants, products, and customers.
