Kforce is seeking a Controller for a growing manufacturing organization in Montana. The role covers cost accounting, inventory management, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close, collaborating with operations and site leadership to drive financial insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Manufacturing cost accounting experience is required.
• Experience with standard costing, inventory accounting and variance analysis.
• SAP or similar ERP experience is preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables and Lookups.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Perform manufacturing variance analysis and cost center reviews.
• Maintain standard costing and inventory accounting processes.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Analyze inventory, overhead costs, and operational performance metrics.
• Prepare financial reports and provide actionable insights to leadership.
• Review purchase orders and assign general ledger coding.
• Partner with Operations, Materials, and Accounts Payable to resolve variances.
• Assist with fixed asset audits and inventory controls.
