Job summary

CFS in Bourbon, Indiana is seeking a strategic Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial direction of a growing manufacturing organization. This hands‑on, visionary role requires deep manufacturing experience and the ability to partner with the CEO and executive team.

The ideal candidate will drive budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and internal controls while building a scalable finance function. Experience with NetSuite and ERP implementations is highly important to support the next phase

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience in manufacturing.
• Demonstrated career progression within manufacturing, with a strong understanding of plant operations and financial performance.
• Previous experience in a CFO, VP of Finance, Controller, or senior financial leadership role.
• Proven experience leading an ERP implementation from planning through execution.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing accounting, including cost accounting, inventory, standard costing, margins, and operational financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic financial partner to the CEO and executive leadership team, providing insight and recommendations to drive business performance and profitability.
• Lead all financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning and analysis.
• Develop and execute long-term financial strategies that align with organizational goals and support continued growth.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, financial statement preparation, internal controls, and compliance.
• Lead and manage the finance and accounting team, developing talent, establishing accountability, and building a high-performing department.
• Drive financial visibility across manufacturing operations through cost accounting, inventory management, margin analysis, pricing, and operational performance reporting.
