Job summary

The Clorox Company seeks an experienced leader to plan, execute, and deliver medium to large-scale capital projects across manufacturing operations in Alpharetta, GA. You will align initiatives with business objectives, timelines, budgets, and safety standards while guiding cross-functional teams.

This role drives innovation, manages scope, schedules, and vendors, and mentors engineers and site staff. Travel between 40-60% depending on activity.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in engineering and manufacturing operations management.
• 5+ years leading increasing complexity and scale of capital projects and budgets.
• 2+ years in people management (employee selection, placement, development/coaching, career planning).
• Consumer Packaged Goods experience
• Hands-on experience with SAP modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP Fiori) and understanding of their functionalities.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of capital projects aligning with business goals, timelines, budgets, and safety.
• Direct cross-functional project teams, including process, packaging, electrical, controls, operations, and external engineering partners, to implement manufacturing initiatives.
• Develop and execute project strategies by applying engineering principles, technical expertise, and business acumen to solve manufacturing challenges.
• Own project scope, schedules, financial performance, resource planning, risk management, and vendor relationships.
• Drive manufacturing innovation through new technologies, process improvements, automation solutions, and major equipment upgrades.
• Deliver integrated technical, operational, and people-focused solutions that improve reliability, productivity, quality, safety, and business performance.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship by establishing best practices and engineering standards.
• Lead strategic Communities of Practice (CoPs) by defining objectives and KPIs, developing standards, and sharing knowledge across functions/sites/regions.
• Serve as liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams by managing backlogs, defining user requirements, and supporting testing.
• Build partnerships and influence at all levels while communicating complex technical concepts and driving change across the manufacturing network.
• Travel is required 40-60% depending upon project activity
