Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; associate degree considered with relevant experience.
• Manufacturing purchasing or procurement experience required.
• Experience sourcing components, mechanical or electrical parts, or other production materials.
• Strong supplier management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of inventory planning and manufacturing operations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and purchasing or ERP systems.
• Willingness to travel periodically for supplier visits and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Purchase manufacturing components and materials to meet production needs.
• Manage supplier relationships, pricing, quality, and delivery performance.
• Coordinate material requirements and inventory levels with internal teams.
• Address supplier delays, shortages, and other supply continuity issues.
• Identify cost savings and opportunities to improve supplier value.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and support inventory accuracy.
• Partner with operations and engineering to improve material availability and purchasing processes.
