Job summary

Eaton’s AER MSD Mission System Division in Davenport, IA seeks a Buyer to procure goods and services, manage quotes, and issue compliant purchase orders to support the Davenport Factory.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or high school diploma with 2+ years procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
• This position requires export-controlled information access; applicant must be a U.S. person as defined by regulations.

Responsibilities

• Procure goods and services in an MRP/ERP environment in accordance with company policies.
• Review and issue purchase-orders; obtain quotes, negotiate costs and payment terms.
• Expedite and track parts to support production schedules.
• Serve as liaison between internal Eaton customers and suppliers.
• Resolve supplier-related quality and billing issues.
• Comply with FAR, DFARS, and Eaton policies and procedures.
• Prepare small business spend plans and reporting to comply with SBA requirements.
