Eaton Corporation's IS AER FMC division is seeking a Strategic Buyer for our Grand Rapids, MI facility. The role focuses on complex procurement of non-standard, custom parts and services and requires collaboration with engineering, ITAR programs and aftermarket teams.

The position offers a salary range of $86,000 to $126,000 per year, with eligibility based on experience, market considerations, and qualifications. Candidates should be within 50 miles of Grand Rapids, MI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, operations or combination of these functions.
• U.S. export controls require a U.S. person (citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee).
• No relocation benefit is being offered; candidates must be within 50 miles of Grand Rapids, MI.

Responsabilités

• Procure parts and services with complex or custom requirements, focusing on non-standard buying.
• Drive part deactivation/reactivation processes to meet customer demands.
• Collaborate in Aftermarket quoting process with commercial teams.
• Manage producibility decisions for the plant (dormant parts, none process, supplier unknown).
• Oversee in-site transitions (supplier movement, gate processes, ramp up/down) based on risk.
• Manage all technical procurement activities for ITAR & other undisclosed programs.
• Receive, validate and communicate Engineering Specs with support of Engineering -ITAR & Other undisclosed programs.
• Engage suppliers in tender preparation and align on responsibilities for delivery.
• Manage Material Forecast collaboration and obtain capacity commitments from suppliers.
