Job summary

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority seeks a Manager of Alternative Delivery Contracts to oversee procurement and contract administration for DB and CMAR projects. Based in Boston, you will lead a team within Contract Services and ensure compliance with Federal and State laws.

You will develop procurement schedules, coordinate with project managers, and implement MBTA's procurement manuals while supporting audits and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Five (5) years of experience in procurement and/or contract management.
• Related supervisory experience or leading large projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all phases of the procurement and contract administration.
• Supervise and manage a team of Coordinators and other staff within Contract Services.
• Organize workloads and identify contract procurement needs/requirements.
• Implement MBTA’s Procurement Manual and Alternative Delivery Manuals (DB/CMAR).
• Develop and oversee the Procurement Schedule to support the Authority’s Capital Program.
• Prepare annual updates for the Office of the Inspector General and ensure compliance.
• Work with PMIS/FMIS and other platforms for projects.
