Akima Mission Optimization (AMO) seeks a Mid-Level Management Analyst to provide analytical, management, operational, and organizational support for complex programs. The role emphasizes evaluating structures, processes, and performance, and delivering actionable recommendations to senior leadership.

Navy program experience is highly valued, with a strong expectation for independent and collaborative work in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a technical field is desired.
• An associate’s degree may be substituted with four years of relevant experience.
• Seven years of relevant experience in management analysis, operations research, or related fields is desired.
• Significant Navy program/operations experience is desired.
• Experience applying analytical methods to evaluate management processes and performance.
• Experience developing program metrics and performance information.
• Strong communication and leadership in group settings.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of management functions and analytical methods to gather, analyze, and evaluate information to support managers and customers.
• Evaluate organizational structures, processes, resource use, and program performance to identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop recommendations and solutions to management challenges and communicate findings to senior leadership.
• Support program milestones and analyze performance metrics to inform decisions.
