Job summary

Akima Mission Optimization (AMO) seeks a Mid-Level Management Analyst to provide analytical, management, operational, and organizational support for complex Navy programs, on-site in Maryland. Responsibilities include evaluating structures, processes, and performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and delivering recommendations to senior leadership.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience with Navy operations, and the ability to lead working groups and collaborate

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, a technical field or related discipline.
Associate degree may substitute with 4 additional years of experience.
7+ years of relevant experience in management/analytical roles desired.
Experience supporting Navy programs or operations preferred.
Ability to apply analytical methods to evaluate processes and performance.
Experience developing and analyzing program metrics and milestones.
Strong communication of findings to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

Evaluate organizational structures, processes, and resource utilization for improvement.
