Placements24 is seeking a strategic Management Accountant to support operations on a fully remote basis. You will provide budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and cost management to drive business decisions and improve efficiency.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, a professional designation (CIMA/SAICA/SAIPA), 5+ years in management accounting, advanced Excel, and ERP experience (SAP or Oracle).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management.
• Professional designation such as CIMA, SAICA, or SAIPA is essential.
• 5+ years of experience in management accounting or financial analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Strong understanding of business operations and KPIs.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills with ability to influence decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Analyze financial performance against budget and forecasts, identifying key drivers and variances.
• Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership.
• Conduct cost accounting activities, including cost analysis and control measures.
• Implement and refine management accounting systems and processes.
• Provide financial modeling and decision support for strategic initiatives.
