Job summary

Seattle Rep’s Major & Planned Gifts Officer leads donor engagement, cultivating relationships to secure significant current and future gifts in support of Seattle Rep’s mission. The role anchors the planned giving program and Ovation Circle, partnering with leadership, trustees, and volunteers to grow fundraising impact.

The Officer will manage a donor portfolio, apply moves management, and collaborate with development colleagues to deepen engagement and strengthen the long-term pipeline.

Qualifications

• Strong relationship-building, communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with major gifts, planned giving, or a combination of the two.
• Experience using donor relationship-management or database systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of major and planned giving prospects and donors.
• Identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors for major, planned, blended, and other significant gifts.
• Maintain an active pipeline with moves management and revenue opportunities.
• Collaborate across Development to grow donor engagement and the long-term pipeline.
• Represent Seattle Rep at performances, donor events, and community activities.
