Job summary

Michigan State University College of Engineering seeks an Associate Director of Development to increase philanthropic support for student and faculty-focused, capital, and programmatic priorities. Qualifications

• Knowledge equivalent to a four-year college degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing and/or Business; 3–5 years in public relations, fundraising, or related field.
• Travel required – valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage a portfolio of ~75 major donor prospects and cultivate gifts.
• Collaborate with University Advancement and College leadership to plan fundraising strategies.
• Develop donor communications, briefings, and stewardship plans for priority initiatives.
• Engage in moves management to move prospects toward major gifts and solicit gifts of $100,000+.
