Job summary

Umicore Market Solutions in the United States seeks a Maintenance Planner and Scheduler to prepare maintenance work so it can be completed safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to production. You will turn approved requests into complete job packages and build realistic schedules based on equipment availability, priority, materials, and craft labor.

Qualifications

Industrial maintenance experience with planning or scheduling responsibility.
Ability to translate field observations into clear job scope and labor estimates.
Strong Excel skills for backlog and schedule management.

Responsibilities

Review maintenance requests for scope and priority; manage backlog.
Visit job sites to develop job packages with steps, tools, and materials.
Estimate labor hours and crew size; account for dependencies and safety.
Coordinate parts, services, and contractor needs; ensure material readiness.
Build and maintain a weekly schedule aligned with production and equipment access.
Maintain SAP PM data: scope, operations, work centers, dates, materials, status.
Support preventive maintenance and shutdown planning and coordination.
