Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance planning or 5 years in industrial maintenance.
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency with applicable software applications.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; understands and applies company safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review work requests for accuracy and clarity with scope, dates, lead times, and equipment.
• Identify work requiring engineering design and review with engineering/area.
• Assemble information for mechanics: drawings, manuals, procedures, and notes; prepare clarifications as needed.
• Prioritize safety in all maintenance activities and work orders.
• Manage work control backlog and status from planning to completion.
• Verify materials, information, tools, and labor before moving a work order to scheduling.
• Coordinate with maintenance leads, supervisors, and contractors to balance resources and downtime.
• Attend weekly planning and scheduling meetings to finalize priorities and lead times.
• Issue scheduled work orders with job plan packets and respond to questions.
• Update BOMs and create task lists for recurring work orders.
