Job summary

Nippon Dynawave Packaging seeks a Maintenance Planner to develop maintenance work packages, schedules, and backlogs for safe, efficient operations in a heavy industrial pulp and paper setting. You will coordinate across Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, Stores, Purchasing, and contractors, ensuring ready-to-schedule work orders and accurate data in the CMMS.

The role emphasizes detailed scoping, cost awareness, and collaboration, with a day shift focus and potential outages.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated maintenance planning, scheduling, or related heavy industrial experience.
• Ability to develop complete work packages, estimate labor and materials, interpret drawings and technical documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CMMS usage.

Responsibilities

• Review work requests and convert approved work into ready-to-execute work orders.
• Develop clear job scopes, labor estimates, safety considerations, tools, and materials.
• Create complete work packages for efficient execution by craftspeople.
• Identify material requirements and coordinate procurement and delivery.
• Plan outage work lists and detailed schedules for execution.
