Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two-year technical degree in technical or business discipline.
• High school diploma or equivalent with 3+ years in a maintenance scheduling role in paper, chemical, petrochemical, or industrial facility.
• 3+ years in a maintenance role in paper, chemical, petrochemical, or industrial facility.
• Knowledge of mechanical maintenance processes and activities.
• Experience with mechanical maintenance management systems for record keeping and parts requirements.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to walk, climb equipment, work in confined spaces.
• Must pass drug test, fit-for duty test and background check.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare maintenance work plans and schedules for corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance.
• Develop, maintain, and deliver integrated maintenance schedules in support of operations.
• Identify materials, manuals, tools, and work instructions needed for planned work.
• Evaluate options to achieve cost-effective maintenance.
• Coordinate timing with other departments for optimal scheduling.
• Manage work orders from handover to completion.
• Create requisitions and order parts for maintenance activities.
• Define scope and cost of contractor work and ensure availability of equipment.
• Adhere to Control of Work processes, including permitting and risk identification.
• Maintain high standards for safe and cost-effective maintenance scheduling.
• Audit completed PM and implement improvements.
• Develop cost estimates for planned work and outages; track actuals.
• Support maintenance supervisor with preventive maintenance routines and in-field needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
