Job summary

Danone North America is seeking a Manager of Maintenance Cost Optimization to implement cost-effective strategies for equipment reliability and maintenance across our manufacturing network.

You will lead productivity projects, optimize maintenance expenditures, and build capability in a hybrid environment. Requires 10+ years in manufacturing/engineering, and expertise in TPM, Lean, and data analytics.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, procurement and manufacturing environments.
• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, packaging science, or related technical field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations or engineering roles within a CPG food and beverage environment.
• Proven success in implementing programs across multi-site operations.
• Expertise in TPM, IWS, Lean, and digital manufacturing tools.

Responsibilities

• Implement maintenance cost optimization initiatives across the network.
• Reduce maintenance costs across Danone North America.
• Collaborate with Engineering on capital projects to ensure cost efficiency.
• Lead best practice identification and deployment across the network.
• Drive reduction of maintenance costs through supplier management and sourcing strategies.
• Benchmark best practices and drive standardized implementation.
• Partner with teams to optimize maintenance cost across functions.
• Review reverse engineering opportunities to reduce spare parts spend.
• Implement standardized storeroom practices to reduce inventory and improve availability.
• Support development of a technical training center for capability building.
• Provide local support to standardize purchasing practices and reduce overall spend.
• Assist plants in annual maintenance budgets and forecast updates.
