Job summary

Toyota Tsusho America is seeking a Corporate Development Analyst to join its Corporate Development & Investment team in New York. You will guide execution across investments, M&A, partnerships, and strategic projects, building advanced financial models and preparing materials for senior management.

You will develop high-quality analyses, coordinate with finance, accounting, legal and business teams, and deliver actionable insights for executives.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years in investment banking, corporate development, private equity/VC, transaction services, strategy consulting OR 3-5 years in financial services, accounting, corporate finance.
• Demonstrated experience supporting transaction due diligence and building robust valuation models.
• CFA progress, CPA, or MBA is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and own complex financial models (3-statement, DCF, LBO-lite, accretion/dilution, synergy cases) and pressure-test assumptions.
• Conduct market and industry research; synthesize complex information into actionable insights and recommendations; create presentations for senior leaders.
• Draft board-level materials, craft narratives and executive summaries. Conduct market landscaping, TAM/SAM/SOM, competitor strategy, and regulatory scans.
• Lead diligence workstreams; manage checklists, synthesize Q&A, and deliver issue logs with impact/mitigation recommendations.
• Support and guide process improvements, playbooks, and best practices; develop dashboards and monitor pipelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
