Job summary

Williams Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Corporate Development Analyst to lead valuation and financial modeling for potential investments, acquisitions, and strategic projects. The role requires deep analytical skills and experience with complex deal structures.

You’ll support the entire deal lifecycle—from strategy and due diligence to deal execution and integration—while collaborating with senior leaders and external partners. Hybrid work is offered in many office roles, including Houston.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field with eight years of related experience required for Sr level.
• Master’s degree and ten years' experience preferred; energy industry preferred.
• Experience leading economic valuation modeling for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and capital projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial modeling and valuation for mergers, acquisitions, divestments, JV, and major capital projects.
• Support end-to-end M&A, capital investment, and commercial negotiation processes from strategy through integration.
• Assist due diligence by reviewing financial and investment information.
• Assess competitive landscape, trends, and risks of investments and present recommendations to senior leadership.
• Mentor team members to promote teamwork and professional development.
