Univar Solutions in The Woodlands, TX is seeking an M&A Analyst to support the coordination and execution of the company’s growth program. You will work with the VP of M&A and other leaders to analyze strategic opportunities, build financial models, and manage due diligence throughout deal cycles.

The role emphasizes independent work with guidance, collaboration across teams, and delivering insights to inform transactions and post-closing integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in finance, investment banking, corporate development or private equity.
• Strong modeling, analytical and presentation skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix environment.
• Detail oriented and well organized.
• Proven due diligence and deal team experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform extensive financial/valuation analyses for acquisition targets.
• Build advanced financial models to value targets and opportunities.
• Lead due diligence, research, and documentation of projects.
• Prepare presentations highlighting analyses and findings.
• Participate in project meetings with key stakeholders.
• Suggest process improvements for efficiency in tasks.
• Support deal teams in development, reporting, and milestones.
• Assist with biweekly pipeline development and strategic initiatives.
