Job summary

Autodesk is seeking a Senior Program Manager in M&A Finance to lead finance workstreams across the full M&A lifecycle, from diligence through close and integration. You will partner with FP&A, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, and corporate development to deliver transaction support, readiness, and integration for strategic initiatives.

You will drive financial diligence, assess risks, and prepare senior leadership materials while guiding cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• MBA, CPA or other advanced finance or accounting credentials preferred.
• Experience supporting transactions through financial diligence, modeling, close, and post-close integration.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills with clear recommendations.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance workstreams across the full M&A lifecycle from diligence to post-close integration.
• Partner with finance sub-functions and cross-functional stakeholders to assess risks and drive execution planning.
• Lead diligence activities: historical and projected performance, cash flow, working capital, transaction assumptions.
• Review transaction materials to provide finance input on deal structure and provisions.
• Synthesize findings into clear recommendations for leadership.
• Coordinate pre-close planning across core finance functions for Day 1 readiness.
• Develop and execute finance integration plans with governance and milestone tracking.
• Transition acquired company finance processes and reporting into Autodesk’s operating model.
• Support closing and post-close activities, onboarding, and settlements with cross-functional teams.
• Track progress, resolve blockers, and escalate issues as needed.
• Identify opportunities to standardize and scale M&A finance processes and governance.
