Job summary

Autodesk’s M&A Finance team is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead the full M&A lifecycle from diligence through close and integration. You will partner with FP&A, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Procurement, Corporate Development, Legal, HR, IT, and business teams to assess transactions and drive finance workstreams across acquisitions and divestitures in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business.
• 9+ years in M&A finance, transaction advisory, strategic finance, FP&A, or related fields.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with clear recommendations.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance workstreams across the full M&A lifecycle, including diligence, deal planning, close readiness, Day 1 execution, and post-close integration
• Partner with finance sub-functions and cross-functional M&A stakeholders to assess risks and opportunities and drive execution planning
• Lead diligence activities with analysis of historical and projected performance, cash flow, working capital, and key assumptions
• Review transaction materials and agreements to provide finance input on structure and risk
• Synthesize findings into clear recommendations for leadership
• Coordinate pre-close planning across core finance functions to support Day 1 readiness
• Develop and execute integration plans with governance and milestone tracking
• Transition processes, systems, and reporting into Autodesk’s operating model
• Track progress, escalate blockers, and drive timely resolution
• Identify opportunities to standardize and scale M&A finance processes and tools
