Job summary

Applied Materials, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager of M&A Finance & Policy to drive financial due diligence across target companies and coordinate post-closing accounting integration.

You will partner with Corporate Development and business teams to identify financial risks and opportunities during the deal cycle and manage cross-functional integration activities. The role requires 7+ years in M&A due diligence, leadership experience, and strong valuation and accounting skills, including

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and CPA or equivalent.
• 7+ years in M&A due diligence in Big 4 or similar.
• Experience leading 2+ levels of management.
• Understanding valuation methodologies (DCF, comps, precedent transactions).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; purchase price accounting expertise.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial due diligence for multiple M&A targets, supporting Controllership, Corporate Development, and Applied Ventures.
• Provide insights into drivers, cash flow, and working capital for valuation models.
• Evaluate due diligence findings to identify accounting risks and legacy US GAAP compliance.
• Prepare technical memos on purchase price accounting and related standards.
• Coordinate post-acquisition accounting integration and finance playbook execution.
• Project manage finance integration with cross-functional teams and timelines.
