Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or CPA or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in M&A due diligence in Big 4 or equivalents.
• 2+ years in manager or higher role.
• Understanding of valuation methodologies, including DCF, comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Leads financial and accounting due diligence of multiple M&A targets with Controllership, Corporate Development and Applied Ventures.
• Provides insight into drivers, performance, cash flow and working capital for valuation models (including Quality of Earnings adjustments).
• Evaluates due diligence findings to identify key accounting risks and legacy US GAAP compliance.
• Reviews purchase agreements to avoid undesirable accounting outcomes and helps negotiate terms.
• Prepares technical accounting memos on PPA, VIE, goodwill impairment, and other standards.
• Supports post-close accounting calculations, including net debt and working capital adjustments.
• Builds relationships with target management to facilitate successful transactions and post-integration work.
• Coordinates accounting integration activities from the M&A playbook across multiple projects.
• Manages post-acquisition accounting review and alignment with Applied policies.
