Job summary

Finatal is seeking a VP of Corporate Development & M&A to own the deal process from sourcing through integration. The role reports to the Founder & CEO and commands an active deal pipeline rooted in PE-backed activities.

You will lead valuation, underwriting, diligence, and negotiations, coordinating with QoE, legal, lenders, and advisors while tracking synergies post-close. A strong track record in private equity or corporate development is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in M&A at a PE-backed or acquisitive company
• Experience running full deal cycles with senior leadership
• Foundation in investment banking, private equity, transaction services, or deal advisory
• Has run full deal cycles alongside senior leadership, start to finish

Responsibilities

• Source and build a pipeline of acquisition targets through direct outreach and industry relationships
• Lead early conversations with prospective sellers on behalf of the company
• Own deal analysis: valuation, underwriting, and risk assessment
• Coordinate diligence workstreams and external advisors (QoE, legal, lenders, insurance)
• Support negotiation of LOIs and definitive agreements
• Lead post-close integration handoff across finance, operations, and HR
• Track synergy realization against underwriting assumptions and report to leadership
• Maintain pipeline tracking, diligence playbooks, and board-ready reporting
