Job summary

Forvis Mazars Capital Advisors, LLC is seeking an Analyst to join its investment banking team. You will gain hands-on experience across sell-side, buy-side and capital-raising transactions, supporting due diligence, client materials, and transaction analysis in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with senior bankers to build models, perform valuations, and coordinate with clients and advisors, receiving leadership support for professional development and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or Liberal Arts with strong quantitative ability.
• Minimum of one year of prior investment banking or finance roles involving M&A or corporate finance.
• Series 79 & 63 licenses or willingness to pursue.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong writing and financial modeling skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
• Willingness to work collaboratively with clients and senior bankers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct company, industry, market, and competitor research to support client engagements and transactions.
• Analyze historical and projected financial performance, operating trends, cash flows, and key drivers.
• Build and review integrated financial models to evaluate scenarios and financing options.
• Perform valuation analyses using comparables, precedent transactions, DCF, and LBO.
• Support day-to-day execution of sell-side, buy-side, and capital-raising engagements.
• Coordinate due diligence, data rooms, information requests, and Q&A with clients and transaction parties.
• Prepare client-facing materials such as pitch books, teasers, and memoranda.
• Develop buyer/investor target lists using strategic and financial criteria.
• Participate in client calls and management meetings; prepare analyses for questions.
• Coordinate with internal and external advisors to advance workstreams.
• Assist with evaluating transaction structures and key terms.
• Manage workstreams, timelines, and deliverables across engagements.
• Contribute to business development with market updates and prospect materials.
• Monitor market activity and capital markets developments to inform strategy.
• Identify opportunities to improve analytical tools and processes.
