Forvis Mazars Capital Advisors, LLC is seeking an Analyst to join the investment banking team. You will gain hands-on experience across sell-side, buy-side, and capital-raising transactions with substantial professional development.

You will support client engagements with research, financial modeling, and valuation analyses, while collaborating with senior bankers and external advisors in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance or related field with strong quantitative skills.
• Experience in investment banking or finance roles with M&A exposure.
• Licenses Series 79 and 63 or willingness to pursue.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; strong financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research to support client engagements and transaction positioning.
• Analyze historical and projected financial performance and drivers.
• Build and review integrated financial models for transactions.
• Perform valuation analyses (comps, precedent, DCF, LBO).
• Support execution of sell-side, buy-side, and capital-raising engagements.
• Coordinate due diligence and information flows among parties.
• Prepare client-facing materials and marketing documents.
• Develop lists of potential buyers and targets using criteria.
• Participate in client calls and management discussions; prepare analyses.
• Collaborate with lawyers, accountants, and advisors to advance workstreams.
• Help evaluate transaction structures and financing terms.
• Manage workstreams and timelines; communicate status and next steps.
• Contribute to business development with market updates and materials.
• Monitor market activity and capital markets developments.
