Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking an Investment Banking Analyst to join the Strategic Investors Group in M&A. You will contribute to sponsor M&A execution, work with senior bankers, and gain exposure to training, mentoring, and development opportunities while building the firm's franchise in the marketplace.

You will develop core skills across investment banking activities, including valuation, financial modeling, and client dialogue, as part of a collaborative, inclusive team culture.

Qualifications

• Prior work experience in an investment banking front office, or related, role.
• Strong accounting, finance, quantitative and business writing skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong analytical, organizational and prioritization skills.
• Understanding of the transaction cycle and execution orientation.
• Impeccable communication with senior professionals and clients.
• Self-directed, highly motivated and able to work independently.
• Highly organized, detail oriented in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support due diligence, document preparation, negotiation, and liaising with clients and advisors.
• Lead development of quantitative analyses and modeling (valuation, three-statement models).
• Collaborate with JP Morgan product and sector teams.
• Build complex financial models and perform valuation and analytics.
• Prepare presentation materials for M&A, capital markets, and client discussions.
