Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in supply chain management, business or logistics, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in logistics or supply chain
• In-depth knowledge of transportation industry
• Proficiency in transportation management software
• Accounting abilities to manage load rate changes, discrepancies and analyze financial data and generate reports
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
• Organizational and time management skills
• Great communication and collaboration skills
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to provide operational support outside of business hours

Responsibilities

• Route Planning: Optimize delivery schedules and plan efficient routes to reduce costs and meet deadlines.
• Dispatching, tracking, and tracing live shipments with carriers.
• Handle OS&D freight claims, address delays, and fix shipping errors.
• Ensure Compliance with applicable regulations in transportation.
• Problem solving to address lost or delayed shipments and customer complaints.
• Strategic thinking to plan shipments, evaluate objectives, prioritize routes and reduce costs.
• Build relationships with stakeholders, internal teams, customers, and carriers
