Job summary

The Department of the Navy seeks a qualified civilian to lead product support planning, sustainment strategy development, and cross-functional coordination to ensure system readiness and lifecycle performance.

Responsibilities include evaluating support options, budgeting, and aligning logistics activities with program objectives while ensuring mission readiness and compliance with federal requirements.

Qualifications

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product support planning by developing sustainment strategies and coordinating efforts to improve system readiness.
  • Analyze support alternatives, assess risks, and recommend solutions that meet program objectives.
  • Manage product support funding requirements and oversee logistics activities supporting life cycle management.
  • Develop maintenance and disposal strategies to improve reliability and performance.
  • Evaluate metrics and drive process improvements across the system life cycle.
  • Prepare reports and coordinate cross-functional teams to align activities with schedules and priorities.
