Job summary

VTG is seeking a Senior Product Support Specialist to support our U.S. Navy customer in the Washington, DC area.

The role focuses on turning product support information into executable schedules, plans, and leadership briefings, coordinating across Navy centers and industry partners, and maintaining lifecycle sustainment documentation. You will work with government and contractor teams to deliver decision-ready program products, apply IPS concepts to maintenance and provisioning, and prepare

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to sustain it.
• US citizen with relevant defense logistics experience.
• Experience in product support management or lifecycle support for complex systems.
• Strong understanding of IPS concepts across a system lifecycle.
• Ability to interpret contracts, SOWs, data requirements and schedules.
• Strong technical writing skills for briefs and recommendations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel; scheduling tools preferred.
• Judgment, attention to detail, organization and prioritization.
• Ability to work with Government and contractors in cross-functional teams.
• Availability for up to 10% travel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Government leads on requirements and IMS activities.
• Convert complex logistics data into actionable plans and briefings.
• Act as a coordination link with Navy centers and stakeholders.
• Apply IPS knowledge to design interface, maintenance and provisioning.
• Support life-cycle sustainment planning and metrics development.
• Prepare decision-quality briefings for senior leaders.
• Maintain action trackers and executive correspondence.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, contracts, test and maintenance.
• Identify workflow improvements and data quality enhancements.
• Drive tasks to closure with minimal supervision.
