Job summary

Sayres Defense is seeking a Mid-Level Program & Lifecycle Sustainment Analyst to support Navy program logistics, lifecycle planning, readiness analysis, and strategic budgeting across multiple product lines. This career-development role targets professionals with ~5 years of DoD/Naval experience and a path toward senior lifecycle positions.

You will work with engineering, logistics, and program management teams to analyze readiness, maintain lifecycle data, and contribute to LCMPs and policy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or management field.
• Approximately five years of DoD/Naval lifecycle management experience.
• Foundational knowledge of integrated logistics support and DoD processes.
• Experience collecting, organizing, analyzing, and presenting data.
• Ability to prepare professional briefings, reports, spreadsheets, trackers, and decision-support materials.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support program planning and lifecycle sustainment across multiple products and maritime platforms.
• Coordinate sustainment inputs including maintenance concepts, spares planning, supply support, and configuration management.
• Collect and analyze fleet readiness, system availability, and total ownership costs.
• Prepare program briefs, product summaries, status reports, dashboards, and leadership materials.
• Support POM cycle preparations: data calls, funding alignment, performance inputs, and capability trade analyses.
• Coordinate with government organizations, shipbuilders, and internal teams; participate in IPTs and governance meetings.
