Job summary

MasTec Utility Services is seeking a Logistics Material Manager to identify and procure goods and services for project completion. You will support project management, collaborate with vendors, and coordinate with senior management across departments.

The role focuses on forecasting demand, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely purchasing while maintaining detailed records and cost controls. Strong Excel and Oracle EBS experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires strong Excel and data analysis skills for procurement and reporting.
• Ability to analyze costs and identify reductions.
• Experience in vendor management and supplier performance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Identify purchasing needs for the organization.
• Forecast demand with Scoping and Production; evaluate inventory and place orders.
• Perform cost management to identify cost reduction opportunities and analyze pricing changes.
• Source materials using current inventory knowledge.
• Create purchase orders using defined purchasing protocols.
• Assist in receipt of purchases and maintain detailed records.
• Monitor deliveries and address past-due shipments.
• Build relationships with suppliers and manage their performance.
• Conduct supplier business reviews to evaluate performance and compliance.
