Responsibilities

• Establish and sustain that supervisors and associates are trained and competent and understand how their work relates to customer objectives.
• Communicate performance standards that are specific and measurable.
• Interview hourly associates and provide hire recommendations.
• Monitor attendance, productivity, and performance standards; provide coaching and counseling.
• Motivate and engage associates by highlighting team accomplishments and recognition.
• Supervise logistics operations including customer service, freight loading/unloading, and dispatch.
• Conduct team meetings and evaluate changes to improve dispatch productivity.
• Provide relief coverage for operational duties when needed.
• Maintain site operating system knowledge for compliance and resolution of exceptions.
• Complete all records and reports accurately and timely.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and monitor MPG, returns, damages, etc.
