Job summary

Nova Space Solutions, LLC is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee inventory, warehouse, transportation and customer service activities. You will lead and direct strategic planning for logistics and customer services, and perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliant transportation practices, coordinating materials scheduling, maintaining distribution operations, and driving process improvements while mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or Transportation/Logistics Management.
• 5+ years in leadership for logistics or supply chain role.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen to obtain NASA badge.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory management and optimize inventory levels.
• Coordinate SOP/SOW execution for contracts and task orders.
• Schedule raw materials from suppliers to meet demand and minimize costs.
• Maintain transportation systems to meet business needs.
• Manage customer service activities including order entry and satisfaction.
• Analyze logistics and identify complex problems for resolution.
• Ensure compliance with transportation laws and hazardous materials regulations.
• Maintain warehousing and distribution operations with proper policies.
• Foster teamwork and develop staff to meet productivity targets.
• Oversee planned maintenance of vehicles.
