You will collaborate with production, procurement, and project management to ensure timely on-site arrivals, while applying independent judgment to book carriers and resolve issues.

Responsibilities include coordinating deliveries, maintaining records, and optimizing logistics with suppliers and project teams to meet timelines.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and schedule deliveries of materials, product, equipment, and tools.
• Monitor inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring materials arrive on time and are accounted for accurately.
• Maintain inventory records, conduct regular stock checks, and manage reorders to avoid shortages.
• Collaborate with project managers and suppliers to optimize logistics and meet project timelines.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure orders are being made in a manner where they will ship and deliver on time.
• Prepare and manage shipping and receiving documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Troubleshoot delivery and scheduling issues, implementing solutions to minimize delays and disruptions.
• Support efforts to improve logistics workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively over-the-telephone, through e-mail and face to face
• Capacity to recognize when action is necessary and to implement the required actions within a reasonable time.
• Aptitude to prioritize workflow in order to use time effectively.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations in order to calculate transit times.
• Competency to use discretion and good judgment.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Educación

College degree in Logistics, Business, or related field
