Job summary

Soarnol, located in La Porte, Texas, seeks an Advanced Specialist – Logistics & Inventory Control to coordinate shipments, process orders, and support inventory coordination at our La Porte facility. You will work with distributors, warehouse partners, and freight carriers to keep commitments on track, solving logistical issues and maintaining accurate records.

Requirements include a high school diploma (associate degree preferred), 3+ years in logistics, SAP MM experience, and strong Excel/Word

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
At least 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation coordination, or inventory control.
Experience with SAP Materials Management module is preferred.
Strong computer skills; proficiency in Excel and Word; ability to learn logistics systems.

Responsibilities

Process customer orders in SAP from receipt through invoicing.
Coordinate finished-product shipments to meet delivery commitments; track shipments.
Communicate with distributors, warehouse coordinators, carriers, and dispatchers to confirm details.
Coordinate inventory availability with onsite Inventory Coordinator and logistics team.
Support month-end closing and inventory reconciliation; review reports for discrepancies.
Arrange transfers to off-site warehouses to maintain target inventory levels.
Review freight invoices and monitor transportation costs and carrier performance.
