Job summary

Husqvarna in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Shipping and Logistics Manager to oversee daily logistics operations and manage all freight spend for North America. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Business required or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in logistics and/or transportation, including FTL, LTL, air and ocean.
• At least 3 years of previous managerial experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities of Logistics, Special Accounts & Shipping departments.
• Provide guidance to staff; act as decision maker on issues escalated.
• Conduct performance appraisals and provide feedback and development opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures in the employee handbook.
• Lead process improvements and KPI tracking to meet SLAs.
• Coordinate transportation and logistics cost reduction opportunities and manage TMS projects.
• Support customer service and sales with expediting and tracking inbound shipments.
